Queer Athena connects LGBTQ+ individuals from all over New York City and makes them a family. Whether you come to one event or all of them, you're sure to find people you can create amazing memories with for years to come!
Our Mission
Lia Athena started hosting parties to make up for the lack of queer events while growing up. Queer Athena now holds that same goal - to create safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community to feel themselves and have fun in, without judgement or discrimination.

Our Vision
Queer Athena is in its beginning stages of hosting queer events. Eventually we hope to expand the definition of "party" and create events of every kind that you want to see us host. We've started with art markets, picnics and house parties, but the future is what YOU make it.
