About the Event
Like speed dating, this event will focus of getting to know someone real quick. We will run 20-40 rounds of 4-6 minute icebreaker sessions continuously for two hours, and you will be able to mark down people you're interested in getting to know more. Afterwards, you'll get the chance to hang with your new friends on our dance floor! After the event is over, we will be going through your responses and hand out contact info (with all parties' consent) according to who you're interested in getting to know better!

Wine, drinks and food will be served free of charge (while supplies last, 21+ only for wine), and every (21+) admission ticket comes with one complimentary Dyke Beer! There will also be a cute photo booth for you to check out!
For the party people not participating in the Speed Event, there's still lots of fun to be had! Drinks and food will still be available of course. Giant Jenga, card games and the dance floor will be open to you! After the speed event ends at 9pm, we will be opening up the dance floor even more and start blasting the music for a chill club vibe.

You will be asked to show ID upon initial entry. Those with tickets for ages 18-20 will receive a special wristband and not be allowed to consume alcohol.
Masks are encouraged, but optional.
There are no elevators at this venue, and it is located up two flights of stairs. We apologize for the inaccessability. One bathroom is available on the premises. Coat check is available.
There is no smoking/vaping allowed on the premises, however you will be able to exit and return to the event at your convenience. Queer Athena is not liable for any intoxication-related incidents, especially off the premises, so please drink responsibly.
